Crawlune

Privacy policy

The desktop app

Crawlune runs on your computer. When you start a crawl, the app requests pages from the website you entered, exactly as a browser would, identifying itself with the user agent shown in the settings. The pages, links and findings are kept in memory on your machine and are never sent to us.

The free app has no account and sends no telemetry. The only network requests it makes on its own behalf are to the site you are crawling. Settings such as crawl configuration, chosen columns and the welcome screen state are stored locally on your device.

When Pro launches, licence activation will send a licence key and a device identifier to our licensing provider so that seats and devices can be counted. That is described in the terms that accompany Pro; nothing about your crawls is included.
